Joey is responsible for the firm and law chambers administration and provides legal administrative support to the lawyers at Liva Freeman Dent LLP.  He has been with Courtyard Chambers since its inception in 2017. Prior to joining Courtyard Chambers, he worked for two years at a civil and administrative law firm.

He is the Coordinator for the Pre-Hearing Management Conference Duty Counsel Program at Ontario’s Law Society Tribunal.

He is also the Coordinating Assistant for the Duty Counsel Project, a collaborative initiative between the Law Society Tribunal and Defence Counsel, to provide licensees facing potential summary hearings before the Law Society Tribunal with free legal advice.

When he is not providing legal assistance, Joey can be found at the local cinema, making covers of early 2000s music on his otamatone synthesizer, or on a brunch crawl in search of Toronto’s best eggs benedict.
